    Palembang is the capital of South Sumatra Province which has the character as a city of water. In the Sultanate of Palembang in the 16th century, space for a settlement began to lead to land but remain on the boundary river waters. In a further development of this housing is known as home form Limas Palembang. Limas house Palembang is experiencing rapid development in the Sultanate of Palembang Darussalam based on Islam. It is affecting the decoration on the elements of the building, as seen from the interior ornaments that include Arabic script. Meru roof shape (limas) and roof ornament (simbar and tanduk kambing) with both ends pointing upwards, is like on the roofs of traditional buildings in the central states of Hinduism and Buddhism. Namely in the East Asian region that embraces the cosmological principle in the design architecture. By using the method of qualitative research, based on the literature, and survey of the building is still there. It can be concluded that the relation or link between Form and Function in limas house Palembang inseparable from an important goal in architecture, namely the balance and harmony of form.

Indian open cast coal mining is still far behind in global standards in spite of implementation and use of best technologies. Presently the Open cast Coal mining industries warrants for state of the art technology. Energy security is the prime concern of Indian economy which is distressing Indian industries a lot. The problem lies in the implementation and its effective management. The way in which internal planning and implementation processes are managed could greatly influence the outcome of new technology. For this purpose, one of the public sector organizations namely Central Coalfields Limited, located at Ranchi, Jharkhand is being selected.

☑ Aperture Coupled Stacked Microstrip Antenna Array

    This paper presents a novel design of stacked microstrip antenna array for MIMO systems. An aperture coupled feeding technique with rectangular slots has been used to ensure equal coupling to each radiating slots. The antenna system is a layered structure consisting of two driven patches and two parasitic patches. The proposed antenna uses FR4 substrate with dielectric constant 4.4 and height 1.57 mm. The designed structure covers A BROAD wireless band from 5.59 GHz to 5.86 GHz with impedance bandwidth of 270 MHz. Antenna shows gain of 6.828dBi and CORE;ETOION COEFF of 0.35. These characteristics make this antenna suitable for wireless MIMO communications. To deploy the antenna in MIMO system S11, diversity gain, envelope correlation coefficient (ECC) and capacity analysis is also carried out.
